Happy Holidays Everyone!
An abbreviated email this week as you are hopefully more interested in spending quality time with family and friends than hearing from me.
It’s that in-between week when many have completed their holiday traditions, some are fortunate enough not to have to work, and everyone is waiting for New Year.
While you’re not figuring out what to do with the leftovers or how to fit an explosion of packaging materials into your recycling bin, it’s a great time for reflection and consolidation.
Take a moment to catalog your personal wins and learnings for the year, since it’s all to easy to overlook them in our fast-paced lives. Let them sink in. Think about what led you to achieve the successes and the improvements you will make thanks to the things that didn’t work out so well.
This week's post on The Framework blog shares my learnings from a year spent researching, learning about, writing about, and focusing on B2B content marketing. It includes six key observations to help frame the content marketing conversation—both for yourself and with your colleagues.
I’m heading into 2023 with the phrase “100 percent” as my mantra. It’s a tongue-in-cheek reference to a wonderful tour guide that my family and I met while visiting South Africa this year, but it’s also a reminder to fully commit to the projects I have planned. Those include seeing my book project through to publication, launching a webinar series, growing MessageUp significantly, and a renewed commitment to my health and wellbeing.
I wish you and yours a safe, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
See you back here next Wednesday for the first full newsletter of 2023.
Cheers! 🥂🍾🥳
