As you’ve probably guessed from the title, this newsletter isn’t going to follow the familiar pattern of company updates, opinion piece, blog posts, and helpful links.
Instead, it’s a “goodbye for now.”
MessageUp—and its parent, Strategic Piece—have a major new project in the works for 2025. A whole new line of business, in fact.
We’re super excited about the evolving concept—but it means making some very tough choices on how to deploy capital and resources.
The MessageUp newsletter has been a fun and fruitful way to keep our creative juices flowing, sharing ideas and resources with our loyal readers.
Sadly, it didn’t make the cut when we sharpened our pencils. [Ed.: Interesting word play on sharpening and cutting…]
So, this will be the last edition, for now.
Why “for now”? Well, predicting the future is a difficult thing, especially when you’re building and launching new businesses. Concepts that sound amazing on paper have a nasty habit of showing their fatal flaws while being coaxed into reality…
So let’s just hug and say, “see you soon.”
In any case, we’ll write again on this channel once the new business is up and running so you can follow us there, if it’s your vibe.
