Dear Reader,
Welcome to the one hundredth edition of the MessageUp weekly newsletter!
100* not out (with a tip of the bat toward my British readers) is a fine milestone—one at which we’re going to stop and smell the roses.
This will be the last weekly newsletter, for now.
Why? Because there’s so much exciting stuff going on that we need to reassess our priorities. We want to deploy our resources in a manner that most effectively delivers value to our audience and clients.
Here’s a breakdown of what’s in store…
📨 The Newsletter (Continued)
Volume 3 of the newsletter will begin in May, with new editions publishing monthly.
If you’re already a subscriber, there’s nothing else you need to do. Newsletters will appear in your inbox, just less frequently than before.
If you’re not yet a subscriber…
To continue receiving more frequent B2B content marketing insights, follow the MessageUp LinkedIn page then click the 🔔 icon at the top and select the “All” option to ensure our new posts shows up in your feed.
More about LinkedIn in a moment…
📝 The Framework Blog
Like the newsletter, the Framework blog will continue but at a less-hectic pace.
We anticipate publishing new posts about once each month, but might drop a few more if there’s a hot topic about which we’re compelled to write.
All of the 90+ previous posts will remain accessible via the Framework Blog page.
📖 What We’ve Been Reading
We never stop reading, so we will still be sharing a selection of our favorite articles in the monthly newsletter.
We will also begin sharing some of them in LinkedIn posts as part of our increased focus on that channel.
As a way to maximize the value of this effort, we’ve compiled a WWBR Index of over 400+ articles that we’ve shared over the past 100 weeks. This will be an evergreen list that you can always access via the MessageUp Resources page.
1️⃣ One Step Actionable Tips
Our how-to-get-started tips will also move to the LinkedIn page, where they will appear alongside our short video series and thought leadership posts.
💻 The MessageUp LinkedIn Channel
In case you haven’t spotted the pattern yet, this is where the action will be!
By focusing our efforts on delivering relevant, helpful content on the channel where our audience members spend most of their online time, we expect to increase both the effectiveness and the reach of our content.
We will be increasing the frequency of our posts to include each of the content types already mentioned, and more.
If you haven’t already, please visit the MessageUp LinkedIn page, hit the Follow button, then click the 🔔 icon at the top and select the “All” option to be sure our posts will show up in your feed.
📈 The B2B Builders™ Community
Can you guess which initiative is blowing up and driving us to make these tough decisions?
With over 600 potential members already on our radar screen—of whom 200+ are actively considering joining the community—we’re beyond excited at how fast this thing might grow.
Our private beta is under way, with a cohort of intrepid users testing the community platform and providing invaluable feedback on what we need to improve before opening it up to a bigger crowd. If you’d like to dive in and join them, sight unseen, please email b2bbuilders@messageup.com and explain why you think it’s the best idea since sliced bread.
B2B Builders™ is a private, online community for B2B growth leaders—primarily Founders and CEOs, but also CMOs and others—to share ideas, seek advice, develop best practices, and build relationships by intentionally spending time with fellow leaders from different places and industries.
It’s like a super-sized mastermind group.
The big advantages it offers over LinkedIn and other public online forums are the tightly controlled membership (everyone is qualified to be there) and the facilitated engagement on topics our members say are important to them.
To learn more, please review the B2B Builders™ Prospectus.
If you decide it’s something for you, complete the Online Application and we look forward to welcoming you to the community.
Please share these links with other B2B leaders who you think should join the community. Word of mouth is the best marketing we can ask for!
🙋🏼♂️ One More Thing…
Before I sign off, there’s one very important thing to say: Thank You! 🙏🏼
Some of you have been subscribers almost since the beginning, for which I’m incredibly honored and grateful.
I hope you will continue to enjoy the newsletter, albeit less often, and follow us on LinkedIn for even more insights and helpful tips.
Until next time … Cheers!
~ Matt
